(PEMBROKE, N.C.) – More postseason honors have rolled in for Eric Conner as he has been named All-Region by both the Nactional Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association. The junior outfielder was named Second Team in both organizations.

Conner was also a G-MAC All-Conference First Team selection just before the G-MAC baseball playoffs where he helped the Cavaliers advance to the third day of games in the four-day tournament.

The junior was in the top five in the league with a .372 batting average and dotted the top 10 in many other statistical categories. He was second in the G-MAC with 67 hits, fourth with 116 total bases, and tied for fifth with 11 home runs. Conner was one of the most clutch hitters in the G-MAC with a .413 batting average with two outs and a perfect 1.000 with the bases loaded.

Walsh finished the season with a 26-23 record overall and was 16-11 in its first season in the G-MAC. The Cavaliers qualified for the postseason for the third consecutive season.
