Eleven Named To G-MAC All Conference Teams

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has released its All Conference selections for the 2018 football season and 10 Cavaliers have been spotlighted. Koby Adu-Poku and Leondre Crosby were named First Team All Conference. Morgan Trust, Rikwon Moore and Stephen Baugh were given Second Team honors. Honorable Mention awards were given to Kasey Tingler, Hunter Polk, Macklin Coleman, O'Shea Heard and Nick Sanchez. 

First Team

Adu-Poku- (So., 5-9, 185 lbs., Youngstown, Ohio/Boardman)- In his two year career as a Cavalier, Adu-Poku has easily become one of the Cavaliers key players. In his Sophomore season alone, he completed the year with almost 1,000 rushing yards, scored 11 touchdowns and was Walsh's top receiver in the backfield with 262 yards on 24 completions. He ranks 3rd in the G-MAC in rushing. Adu-Poku finished out his season as the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week after he contributed 32 carries for a total of 192 yards including 2 touchdowns that helped the Maroon and Gold in their come from behind victory.

Crosby- (So., 6-1, 230 lbs, Zanesville, Ohio / Zanesville) - He is second on the team with total tackles with 59 for the 2018 season. Crosby averages 6.6 tackles per game, making him one of the Cavalier's leading defensive players. Crosby had a season best 10 tackles in both the Ohio Dominican and Findlay games. 

Second team

Trust - (Jr., 6-1, 250 lbs, Akron, Ohio/Copley) - Trust ranks fourth in the G-MAC with 7.5 sacks on the year. He led the Cavalier defense in tackles for a loss with 49 yards which ranks him sixth in the G-MAC, a Cavalier force to be reckoned with. Trust had a breakout performance in a shoutout win at Lake Erie with two sacks and five tackles that resulted in 12 yards lost for the Storm. 

Moore- (Sr., 6-0, 280 lbs, Washington, Penn./Washington)- A captain for the Maroon and Gold, Moore had 20 total tackles on the season and 6.5 tackles for a loss to power the Cavalier's defensive line. 

Baugh- (R-Fr., 6-0, 195 lbs, Warren, Ohio/ Howland)- A freshman standout for the Cavaliers, Baugh led the team in total tackles, with 72 on the season (7.2 tackles per game). He had nine TFL's for a total of 30 yards lost on the season. 

Garver- (Jr., 5-11, 190 lbs, Poland,Ohio/Poland)- A Junior stand out for the Cavs defensively, Garver had 51 total tackles this season with 5.7 tackles per game.

Tingler- (So., 5-11, 170 lbs, Brookfield, Ohio/Brookfield)

Polk- (So., 6-5, 275 lbs, Zanesville, Ohio/Tri-Valley)

Coleman- (Sr., 6-3, 235 lbs, Mogadore, Ohio/Field)

Heard-(Sr., 6-0, 290 lbs, Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) 

Sanchez-(Gr., 6-2, 220 lbs, Niles, Ohio/McKinley)
