Men's Basketball Goes Four In A Row With Win Against Wright St.-Lake

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio)- The Men's Basketball team tabbed their fourth win in a row with a victory over Wright State-Lake 90-63 in their last home game of the year.

For the Cavaliers, JT Shumate led the way once again with 18 points on 8 of 13 from the field. He also contributed 4 rebounds, 3 blocks and 4 assists. Sterling Christy also had a powerful performance for the Cavs with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. He dished out 3 assists and 2 steals. All 5 starters for the Cavs finished the game in double figures for the night. Caleb Canter and Reece Bogan each contributed 12 points and Darryl Straughter added 11 for the Maroon and Gold. Rounding out the double digit scoring was Will Parker from the bench with 10 points. 

Antonio McQueen scored 19 points for Wright State and also added an impressive 11 rebounds to give him a double-double for the day. 

The Maroon and Gold outscored the Lakers 56-32 in the paint and 25-6 on second chance shots. 

The Cavs pick back up with conference play against Findlay on Thursday Dec 6th.
