Men's Golf Completes Midwest Invite

(EUREKA, Mo.) – The Walsh men's golf team wrapped up its penultimate tournament of the fall in the Midwest Regional at Fox Run on Tuesday. The Cavaliers finished the competition with a score of 628 in 20th place.

McKendree won the tournament with a score of 589. Lindenwood was the runner-up with a score of 591.

Noah Frase led the Cavaliers with a 151 over the two rounds. He opened with a 75 and concluded today with a 76. Drew Savage finished just one stroke behind after a 77 and 75.

Mark Mokros followed 10 strokes back with a 162 after rounds of 82 and 80. Jake Barth completed the team scoring with an 87 and an 86 for a 173. Brandon Obemiller was the fifth player on the team with a 175 split between an 87 and an 88.

The Cavaliers will conclude the fall season with the Trevecca Fall Invitational at the end of the month.
