Darkness Cuts First Round Short for Men's Golf

(LEMONT, Illinois) - Darkness cut the 36 hole first round of play short for the Men's Golf team at the historic Cog Hill Golf and Country Club just outside of Chicago yesterday.  The Maroon and Gold sit in 12th place after the completion of the first 18 holes. The remaining holes from Day one will be played this morning followed immediately by Round 2.

Leading the way for the Cavaliers with a pair of 77's was Drew Savage and Brandon Netzel. Following right behind was Noah Frase with a 79 and Mark Mokros carding an 80.  Rounding out the top 5 for the Cavaliers was Jake Barth posting a 89.

Texas Wesleyan leads the way with a team score of 294 and holds a 7 shot lead over Ohio Dominican, Minot State and Minnesota State Mankato.
