No 3 Seton Hill Too Much For Cavs On Senior Day

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – The No. 3 team in the nation proved too much for Walsh as the Maroon and Gold fell to Seton Hill 22-4 at Vasco Field on a chilly Saturday. The Cavaliers end the year at 2-11 overall and 2-5 in the G-MAC. The Griffins move on to the conference tournament at 14-1 overall and 7-0 in the league.

Benjamin Suchomma scored the first of his two goals on the day with 5:04 left in the first quarter to make the game 2-1 in favor of the visitors, but the Cavs couldn't build off the momentum and were held off the scoreboard until the second half.

Maurice Kelly and Suchomma added a goal each in the third with Kevin McMahon assisting on Kelly's score, while Brydan Heisler added the final goal for the Cavs.

Defensively Ryan Rafac picked up five ground balls to lead the Cavaliers.
