NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh University men's lacrosse team played their third conference game of the season this morning (April 6) against the Davis & Elkins Senators. The Cavaliers defeated the Senators 27-13 to bring their overall record to 3-7 and their conference record to 2-1.
The Cavs put on a dominating offense performace, scoring an overall season-high 27 goals in their third victory of the season. Brian Apshago led the Cavaliers in goals scored with a total of six scored throughout the contest. Evan Bradley would go on to contribute four goals for the Cavs, while also assisting on one goal and picking up three ground balls. Kevin McMahon and Brent Mitchell contributed three goals a piece to the win, McMahon would also add four assists and three ground balls on the day.
Cavalier goalie Noah Ross would have five saves on the day.
The Cavs travel to Mercyhurst on Tuesday (April 9) to take on the Lakers at 4:00 PM.
