Men's Soccer Falls At ODU

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Walsh fell on the road to Ohio Dominican by a score of 2-0 at Panther Field on Saturday evening in the capital. The Cavaliers fall to 5-6-1 overall and 4-5 in the G-MAC. The Panthers improved to 4-8 overall and 3-7 in the conference with the win.

The Panthers scored the first goal near the end of the first half on a free kick from the far left wing at the edge of the box in the 41st minute. The score remained there through the half until the hosts added their second in the 57th minute.

Walsh outshot Ohio Dominican 16-14, but the Panthers' Ian Crook was able to save all six shots on goal.

The Cavaliers return home for four of their last five games of the regular season. First up will be the G-MAC's top-ranked team in Ohio Valley. Kickoff with the Fighting Scots is set for 7:30 p.m.
