Cavs Held Scoreless at Ohio Valley

(VIENNA, W.Va.)- The Walsh University Cavaliers (7-7-1, 4-7-1) traveled to Ohio Valley (13-2-0, 9-2-0) where they fell to the fighting scots 2-0. Ohio Valley came into the season as the G-MAC favorite and proved to be too much for the Cavaliers on Saturday.

It was a defensively dominated game as Walsh only had two shots on goal and Ohio Valley had eight. One of those shots connected for Ohio Valley in the first half (22:39) when Alexandre Horveno scored off an assist from Luis Nieto. The second OVU goal came in the second half when Jorge Pradillos scored from an assist by Alexandre Horveno.

Brett Ekperuoh was the goalkeeper for the Cavaliers. He provided 6 saves on the day.

Walsh will remain on the road as they take on non-conference foe Salem International on Tuesday.
