Cavs Fall To Flyers In Regional Affair

(CANTON, Ohio) – The Walsh men's tennis team hosted one of the top teams in the region in Lewis, but was unable to pull out the win in a 6-3 defeat. The Cavaliers dropped to 6-3 while the Flyers improved to 4-2.

The Cavs were able to score a point at second doubles as Vasily Vidmanov and Rodrigo Garcia squeezed out a 9-7 win over Andre Norasith and Brendan Peterson.

Vidmanov ended up going perfect on the day as he scored a pair of 6-3 sets over Alan Braschinsky at first singles for a second point.

Tim Bruin provided the third point at sixth singles as he took down Benjamin Kasbeer 6-4, 6-2.

The Maroon and Gold returns to action on the road at UNOH this Thursday at 12 p.m.
