(NASHPORT, Ohio) – The Walsh women's golf team moved up two spots in the team standings after improving upon its first round score by 14 strokes. The Cavaliers now sit in 10th with a 682 after shooting a 334 today.
All five players improved upon their first round score individually as well. Kerra Loomis once again led the squad with an 81 to have a two-day total of 167. Amanda Scala was second on the team with an 82 to also improve by five strokes. She now has a 169 for the championships.
Michele Vlacovsky scored an 84 for the third-best round for the Cavaliers today. She now has a 171 through two rounds.
Gina DePasquale scored an 87 to complete the team round. She now has a 175 heading into the final day. Brooke Morgan showed the biggest improvement as she was 10 strokes better than her first round with a 93.
Findlay leads the team standings with a 612. Northern Michigan is second with a 625.
The Cavaliers will conclude the championships and season tomorrow.
