(CARMEL, Ind.) – The Walsh women's golf team opened up the season today at the 2Indy Fall Invitational at the Prairie View Golf Club. The Cavaliers had a tough opening round as they combined for a score of 346 to stand in 15th after the first round.
Host UIndy leads the field with a 292. Missouri St. Louis is second six strokes behind as the only other team to break 300.
Lexus Roshong was the best performer for the Cavaliers as she shot an 81. Danica Steiner was six strokes back with an 87. Michele Vlacovsky shot an 88. Kayleigh McHugh completed the team scoring with a 90. Kerra Loomis is the fifth player on the team and carded a 95.
