Women's Golf Wraps Up Opening Tournament

(CARMEL, Ind.) – Walsh wrapped up its opening tournament as the Cavaliers played in the 2Indy Fall Invitational hosted by UIndy at the Pairie View Golf Club. The Cavs finished 15th in the tournament with a team score of 700.

The hosting Greyhounds won the event with a 588, nine strokes better than runner-up Missouri St. Louis.

Lexus Roshong once again led the Cavalier quintet. Today she shot an 86 for a two-round total of 167. Michele Vlacovsky followed with a 176 after carding an 88 on both days. Danica Steiner and Kerra Loomis both shot 90s today. Steiner had a total of 177, while Loomis totaled 185. Kayleigh McHugh scored a 94 today for a today for a total of 184.

Walsh will return to the links next week as it heads to Findlay. The tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday.
