(FINDLAY, Ohio) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Fall Invitational teed off today at the Findlay Country Club with Walsh standing in the middle of the pack after the first day of competition. The Cavaliers are fifth out of nine teams with a team score of 346.
The hosting Oilers lead the field with a 305. Trevecca Nazarene University sits in second with a 319. Malone and Ohio Dominican round out the top five with a 333 and 335, respectively.
Lexus Roshong was the top player for the Cavs as she carded an 81 for the first round and ties her for 12th on the individual leaderboard. Michele Vlacovsky was six strokes behind with an 87 as the next-best Cavalier. Amanda Scala and Danielle Roshong completed the team score for Walsh with an 88 and 90, respectively. Danica Steiner was the fifth member of the team and finished with a 93.
The G-MAC Fall Invitational will conclude tomorrow.
