Women's Golf Completes First Round at Grand Valley

(ALLENDALE, Mich.) - The Walsh women's golf team sits in ninth after the first round of the Gilda's Club Lakers Fall Invite hosted by Grand Valley State. The team posted a score of 345 at the 72-par course, The Meadows.

Grand Valley leads the field with a 299. Northern Michigan is second seven strokes behind. Ashland, Southern Indiana, and Wayne St. round out the top five.

Michele Vlacovsky was the best performer for the Cavaliers as she shot an 84. Kerra Loomis was two strokes back with an 86. Danielle Roshnog shot an 87. Lexus Roshong completed the team scoring with a 88. Amanda Scala is the fifth player on the team and carded a 90.

The event will resume and conclude tomorrow in Allendale.
