(FINDLAY, Ohio) – The Walsh women's golf team returned to a familiar course as they opened play at the Findlay Country Club in the Bill "Bing" Beall Fall Classic on Sunday. The Cavaliers wrapped up the first round for a score of 344.
Indianapolis led the field a blistering score of 292. The Greyhounds were six strokes better than Missouri-St. Louis, the only other team to break 300.
Kerra Loomis and Michele Vlacovsky led the Cavaliers with an 85 each. Lexus Roshong and Danica Steiner provided the other two scores for the team composite with an 86 and an 88, respectively. Danielle Roshong was the fifth player on the team and carded a 95.
The Cavaliers will wrap up the tournament tomorrow.
