(OLD HICKORY, Tenn.) – The Walsh women's golf team opened up play at the Music City Invite hosted by Trevecca at the Old Hickory Country Club and is tied for 13th after the first round. The Cavaliers turned in a score of 336 to put them even with Ohio Dominican on a rainy day.
UIndy leads the field with an even 300. Grand Valley State is currently second with 303. A total of 17 teams are competing in the two-day event.
Michele Vlacovsky and Sierra Townsend led the Cavaliers as each carded an 82. Kerra Loomis was next for Walsh with an 85. Danica Steiner completed the team score with an 87. Lexus Roshong served as the fifth player on the team and shot a 90.
The event will resume and conclude tomorrow.
