Women's Golf Seventh After First Round Of NC4K

(BLACKLICK, Ohio) – The Walsh Cavalier women's golf team stands in the middle of the pack after the first round of NC4K Colleges Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican. The Cavaliers' first round score of 328 currently has them in a tie for seventh with Northwood in a 16-team field.

Danielle Roshong was the top Cavalier with a round of 78 and is tied for 14th individually. Michele Vlacovsky followed with an 81. Lexus Roshong and Kerra Loomis completed the team scoring with rounds of 84 and 85, respectively.

Danica Steiner served as the fifth player of the quintet and finished her day with an 88. Lauren Hatfield also played as an individual and scored a 92.

Grand Valley State leads the team standings with a 305 after the first round. Northern Michigan currently sits in second with a 307.

The NC4K College Classic will finish tomorrow at the Jefferson Country Club.
