Women's Golf Wraps Up NC4K College Classic

(BLACKLICK, Ohio) – Walsh wrapped up its final tournament before the G-MAC Championships with an eighth place finish at Ohio Dominican's NC4K College Classic on Tuesday. The Cavaliers finished the event with a two-day total of 658 after split rounds of 328 and 330.

Grand Valley State won the 16-team field with a 599. Northern Michigan finished as the runner-up with a 604. Ashland, Tiffin, and Wayne State rounded out the top five.

Michele Vlacovsky improved upon her score yesterday by four strokes to finish today with a 77, the best of any Cavaliers over the tournament, and a total of 158 to tie for 20th individually.

Danielle Roshong was three strokes behind her with a 161 between a 78 and an 83 today. Kerra Loomis and Lexus Roshong followed with each scoring a 171.

Danica Steiner finished with a 172 and had her round included in the team score today with an 84. Lauren Hatfield played as an individual and finished with a 181 after rounds of 92 and 89.

The Cavaliers will play in the G-MAC Championship next week at the Four Bridges Golf Course in Liberty, Ohio.
