(CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.) – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced with a total of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
A pair of Cavaliers were honored as seniors Kerra Loomis and Michele Vlacovsky were both named. Walsh was one of three school in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference to have multiple student-athletes selected.
Vlacovsky was the top golfer for the Maroon and Gold this past season as the G-MAC First Team selection averaged 83.08 strokes in 19.5 rounds. Loomis was a strong contributor to the team this season with an average of 87.5 through 14 rounds, fifth-best on the Cavs.
