Women's Golf Jumps Five Spots on Final Round of Beall Fall Classic

(FINDLAY, Ohio) - The Women's Golf Team jumped an impressive five spots in the final round of the Beall Fall Classic at Findlay Country Club. The top 4 Cavs put together a season best 318  to help secure the 8th place spot.

Leading the way for the maroon and gold was Michele Vlacovsky with a personal best 75 and landing her in a T13th position overall.  Kayleigh McHugh posted an 80 and Amanda Scala was right behind her with an 81. Kerra Loomis kept the consistency going for the Cavs with an 82. Rounding out the top 5 was Lauren Hatfield with a 93. Alexis Green played for the Cavaliers as an individual and carded a final round 86.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis took home 1st with a 36 hole total 598. The University of Findlay and Grand Valley State battled for the second place spot all day. Grand Valley State was able to grab second place by just one stroke over the Oilers 603 to 604.

The Cavaliers tee it back up Monday at The Phipps Memorial hosted at Congress Lake Country Club.
