Women's Golf Signs Hoover All-Ohioan, Madison Ardelean

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio)- Head Women's Golf Coach Christina Paone is pleased to announce the recent signing of All-Ohioan Madison Ardelean, a North Hoover High School graduate, who will be joining the Cavaliers program for the 2019 season.

As a local golf standout, Ardelean has racked up a number of accolades over her high school career. A 4 year letter winner for the Vikings, her 2018 season may have been her best yet. Ardelean set school records with the lowest 18 hole round (-3) 69, lowest 9 hole average (37.25), lowest 18 hole average (74.9) and became the 1st OSHAA Division I NEO District Individual Champion in school history with a (+2) 74. Madison finished T-8th with a 71-77 (148) and received All-Ohio honors at the 2018 OHSAA Division I State Championships in Columbus, Ohio. 

Ardelean was also the driving force to her team's State Championship appearance in 2017 where they placed 6th, which holds the teams best overall finish in school history at the State tournament. Over the course of her high school career she has received 1st Team All-Federal League & All-Stark County honors for four straight years
