Women's Golf Improves After Day One
(TAMPA, Florida)- The Walsh University Women's Golf completed their second round of the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff in Tampa after improving 16 shots from day one shooting a 353 team total.
 
Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Senior Kerra Loomis improving 13 shots from day one to shoot 80. Loomis' 80 was the third best score in the field today and helped her jump up 8 spots and has her sitting tied for 9th heading into the final day. Michele Vlacovsky came in second for the Cavs with an 84 today, two shots better than day one. Vlacovsky moved up two spots to sit in 5th place after her second round. 
 
Also rounding out the lineup for the Maroon and Gold were Kayleigh McHugh with a 93, Alexis Green carding a 96 and Lauren Hatfield with a 98.
 
Northern Michigan Univeristy still holds the first place spot after shooting a team total 329. Amanda Johansson from Tiffin fired an 80 today to hold onto a three shot lead for first place individually. 
 
The Cavaliers will tee off tomorrow at 7:30 A.M. for the final round of the event.
