(TAMPA, Florida)- The Walsh University Women's Golf team completed their third and final round of the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff this afternoon and once again improved their team total from the previous day. The Maroon and Gold psoted a final round score of 347 for a 54 hole total of 1069.
Consistency was key this week for Senior Michele Vlacovsky as she posted a final round 83 to land her in 7th place overall. Kerra Loomis would land herself on the leaderboard right behind Vlacovsky after posting a final round 85. Loomis would end up placing tied for 9th overall for the three day event. Kayleigh McHugh would post her best round of the 54 hole event after carding an 86 for the Cavaliers. Senior Amanda Scala entered the event as an individual and would improve her final round score by 16 shots to post an 86 in her final round.
Tiffin University fired a final round of 312 to move into first place and bring home the title for the Spring Kickoff. Amanda Johansson from Tiffin University would be the tournaments individual medalist after posting a 54 hole total of 236.
The Cavaliers head to Lexington next weekend to compete in the Saginaw Valley Spring Invite.
