Armour Tabbed as G-MAC Player of the Week

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Senior Emma Armour garnered G-MAC weekly accolades as she was named Offensive Player of the Week after leading Walsh to a 3-0 week with a pair of conference wins. The Charlotte, N.C., native scored 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points.

The midfielder was consistent through all three games as well in which the Cavaliers won the first 16-5 followed by a pair of 18-7 decisions. Armour opened up with three goals and two assists to open the week against Notre Dame. She followed with four goals in each of the next two games with two assists against Ohio Valley and five against Ursuline yesterday.

Armour is the current league leader in points per game with 6.20 in five contests this spring. She ranks second in the Great Midwest in both goals and assists.

Armour and the Cavaliers are back in action this week with a pair of games in the Mountain State. The first of those contests will take place on Thursday as Walsh squares off against Davis & Elkins.
