(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh fell to Findlay by a score of 18-3 at Vasco Field in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers dropped to 7-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference. The Oilers improved to 9-2 and 5-1 in the same categories.
The Oilers jumped out to an early lead while limiting the Cavaliers' chances on the opposite end. Sam Paulson eventually got the Maroon and Gold on the scoreboard late in the first half. Halle Kotulock and Emma Armour both added goals in the second half.
Mikaela Faus made eight saves on the day and caused three turnovers on the defensive end. She added a game-high five ground balls as well.
Walsh will attempt to get back in the win column when it hosts Alderson Broaddus on Thursday. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
