Coming into her first season as the Cavaliers’ graduate assistant is 2018 Frostburg State University graduate Samantha Cataldo. She earned her bachelor degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources. Samantha is currently working on obtaining her MBA from Walsh.

As a Chestertown, Md., native, Samantha brings over 12 years of lacrosse experience to North Canton.  She graduated from St. Marks High School in Wilmington, Del., where she was a four-year varsity team member. Additionally Cataldo played on the Delaware Tribe club team. After her playing career with the Delaware Tribe she took over coaching the seventh and eighth grade Tribe team.

At Frostburg State University, Samantha was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team. As a true defender she led the defense, but also made the switch to midfield and ended her career with 14 points on 10 goals and four assists. During Samantha’s senior year she was a team captain. She was also recognized for her work in the classroom as an Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Academic Team selection.
