Women's Tennis Wraps Up Season at Case Western

(CLEVELAND) – The Walsh women's tennis team closed out the 2016-17 season with a 7-2 defeat to Case Western Reserve at Carlton Courts on Wednesday. The Cavaliers end the year 6-16 while the Spartans, ranked No. 19 in Division III, improved to 15-3.

Sofya Logunova closed her career as the top singles player in program history with a pair of 6-2 set wins over Nithya Kanagasegar at No. 1 singles. Mercedes Fernandez gave the Cavaliers their other point with a 5-7, 6-1, 11-9 win over Kendal Holladay.
