(LEWISBURG, Pa.) – The No. 16 Walsh women's track & field team started action on Good Friday at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.
Sarah Berger finished second in the 1,500 meter run at Bucknell's invite portion of the event. She ran in the fourth head and finished with a time of 4:20.74 to finished just .61 behind Bucknell's own Christine Bendzinski.
Andra Lehotay ran in the third heat and finished 18th with a time of 4:31.44.
Maggie Kroll ran an impressive PR time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:26. That time was good enough for second in her heat.
Brianna Coy and Tori Reeves both participated in the 5,000 meter run. Coy ran fourth in her section with a time of 18:07.31 for a new PR. Reeves was just under two seconds behind her in the overall standings with a time of 18:09.12.
The Cavaliers will return to action tomorrow as they host the Walsh Invitational with 16 teams set to compete.
