(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Walsh bounced back from yesterday's heartbreaker with a shutout of Ohio Dominican at Alumni Hall Saturday evening. The Cavaliers (14-4, 8-2 G-MAC) took down the Panthers (3-15, 2-8 G-MAC) by scores of 25-18, 25-19, and 25-9.

The Cavaliers started to take control of the match midway through the first set. Down 13-12, Walsh rallied to score 11 of the next 13 points. Except for a 3-1 deficit in the third set, in which Walsh quickly regained the lead, the Cavs never trailed again the rest of the way.

Paola Ferrario and Lauren Loucks led the Walsh attack with eight kills each. Gina Kramer was one behind them with seven. Olivia Zanolli set up the offense with 24 assists and paced the defense with 11 digs. Amanda Adoranti joined her in double figures with 10.

The Cavaliers will now travel to Chicago to participate in the conference crossover. They will play in three matches with the opponents to be determined early this week.
