Cavs Drop To Hillsdale In G-MAC Play

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – The seven-match home stand didn't start out as Walsh had wished as it fell 3-0 to Hillsdale in the Cecchini Center on Friday evening. The Cavaliers (15-7, 8-3 G-MAC) fell to the Chargers (19-3, 9-2 G-MAC) by scores of 25-7, 25-17, 25-22.

The Cavs had a chance to force a fourth set and led the Chargers as late as 16-15, but the visitors rallied for the next five points and held the advantage the rest of the way.

Lauren Loucks paced the Walsh attack with eight kills while Olivia Zanolli set up the offense with 23 assists. Defensively Amanda Adoranti reached double-digits yet again with 13 digs.

Tomorrow the Cavs will return to action against Findlay (RV) in another G-MAC contest. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
