Cavs Fall to Lake Erie in Five Sets

The Walsh volleyball team took on the Lake Erie Storm at home tonight in what turned out to be a challenging match. Walsh managed to win the first (25-18) and fourth (25-17) sets to push the Storm into five, but fell in the fifth (15-11). The Lake Erie offense proved to be too much for the Cavs as they had 65 total kills on the night compared to Walsh's 59.

Lauren Loucks continues to demonstrate her dominance with 29 kills for the Cavaliers. Sophomore Hallie Schroeder followed with nine kills. Olivia Zanolli covered the court with 47 assists.

The Cavs defense was led by Amanda Adoranti's 26 digs.

The Walsh volleyball team will return to play tomorrow at home against Ursuline at 2 p.m.
