NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Coming off of a NCAA National Championship appearance last season, the Walsh Cavaliers men's and women's cross country teams will compete in four regular season meets in the 2019 season as the season schedule was released on Friday (June 28).
The teams will travel to South Bend, Indiana on September 13th to compete in the National Catholic Meet at the University of Notre Dame. Both the men's and women's teams were victorious in the non Division-I category last year in South Bend.
Two weeks later, the Cavaliers will head south for the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville on September 28th. The men's team took home the team title in the events while the women's team was the runner-up in Akron, the site of the meet last season.
Meet number three takes the Cavaliers to Lewis University for the Conference Crossover Meet on October 12th. Both teams finished in the top seven as the men were seventh and women's team finished sixth overall.
The G-MAC Championships will take place at the Butler Campus at Laurel School (Novelty, Ohio) on October 26th. The women's team won the G-MAC title on home turf at Canton GlenOak High School with the men finishing runners up.
The Midwest Regional will be November 9th in Evansville, Indiana while the National Chanmpionships are November 23rd in Sacramento, California.
