CLARION, Pa. – The 2018 NCAA Division II All Super Region 1 team was released by the Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Region Committee last week, featuring 149 players from the PSAC, MEC, NE10 and the G-MAC.

27 players were selected from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and sophomore Koby Adu-Poku was the Walsh representative. Adu-Poku was named Third Team Offense by the Don Hansen Football Gazette.

Adu-Poku was the team's leading rusher as he compiled 929 rushing yards and eleven touchdowns in his second season with the Cavaliers. The Youngstown Boardman graduate was third in the conference in total rushing yards for the 2018 season. He also led the team in catches on the receiving end too. He had 24 catches for 262 yards.

This is Adu-Poku's second accolade of the year as he was named First Team All-Conference by the G-MAC.

In the season finale, Adu-Poku rushed for a career-high 192 yards in Walsh's 27-22 win over rival Malone. He earned G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the comeback victory over the Pioneers at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
