Andrew Danford
Title: Assistant Coach

Danford joins the Cavaliers staff in 2019 as a Defensive Quality Control Coach after he spent a year at Oberlin College.

At Oberlin College, Danford was a Defensive Line coach and film coordinator while recruiting in the Midwest area. Before that, he worked at Carroll University for two years, where he was the Defensive Live coach, equipment manager and specialized in recruiting in Wisconsin. He earned his Master's degree in Higher Education while he was a coach with the Pioneers. 

Prior to becoming a coach at Carroll, Danford served six years in the United States Army from 2010 through 2016 as an Infantryman. He was deployed twice overseas to Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division and Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division. Danford was an assistant coach with the defensive line for two seasons at his alma mater, Baldwin Wallace before he enlisted in the Army. He played for four years at BW, earning his Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education with a minor in Coaching. He graduated from Louisville High School, where he was a letterwinner in football and track & field. 

Danford lives in North Canton, Ohio and is a play education teacher at Our Lady of Peace.
