(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – After an unbeaten week to start conference play, Walsh looks to keep momentum building in its game against Northwood Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. After starting the season 0-2, the Cavaliers have won their last three which included the two opening GLIAC games in the Upper Peninsula last week.
The Timberwolves enter with a record of 5-2 overall and also won their first two GLIAC games last week at home against Wayne State and Findlay.
Walsh is led by senior guard Jesse Hardin Jr. who was recently named GLIAC South Player of the Week after his performance in games at Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. Hardin Jr. recorded double-doubles in both wins. He scored 23 points and pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds against the Wildcats and followed up with 18 points and 11 boards against the Huskies.
This will be the eighth meeting all-time between Walsh and Northwood. The Timberwolves took last year's meeting by a narrow 87-83 margin in Michigan.
