(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Former and future conference rivals meet on the hardwood once again as Walsh hosts Cedarville Wednesday night at 7. The Cavaliers (4-3) and Yellow Jackets may not be too familiar with each other in recent memory, but the history certainly isn't lacking between the two schools.

Walsh and Cedarville have met a total of 83 times prior with the Cavs edging the 'Jackets in the all-time series 44-39. Only Malone and Ohio Dominican have squared off against the Cavaliers more than Cedarville.

The Cavaliers and Yellow Jackets made the transition to the NCAA Division II at the same time a few years ago and were former members of the American Mideast Conference. They last met three times during the 2011-12 season. Walsh won the first game at home 73-72 in overtime. Cedarville won the second game 71-55 on its home court. Both teams advanced to the OIC Championship game where the Cavaliers scored a 78-77 win at Cedarville to end the season.

The Yellow Jackets entered the week at 4-5 prior to Tuesday's contest at Lake Erie.

This will be the last men's basketball game of the calendar year.
