(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The men's basketball team kicked-off two consecutive home games with an 88-59 win over Franciscan University Tuesday night. The Cavs then played the nightcap of last night's home doubleheader where they defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene 86-71.

Reece Bogan powered the Cavs offense with 16 points on 5-8 shooting from behind the arc. Darryl Straughter followed right behind with 15 points and Conner Wess provided 13 points. Mark Mokros was the spark off the bench with 11 points and six assists. Wess led the rebounding efforts with eight.
Christian Comenge came off the bench to lead Franciscan with 21 points on 7-8 shooting from behind the arc.
Walsh vs. Mt. Vernon Nazarene
Straughter led the Cavs scoring with 21 points. Bogan added 20 points and was just shy of a double-double with 9 boards. Sterling Christy contributed 19 points and eight rebounds.
Brett Vipperman led Mt. Vernon with 14 points.
With the two victories at home, the Cavaliers are now 2-2 on the season. They return to action Wednesday, Nov. 21 when they travel to Northwood. The game tips-off at 6 p.m.
