COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers men's bowling team began their second season of play with a historic performance at the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament at Wayne Webb Lanes on Saturday (Sept. 21).
Walsh finished fourth as a team, the highest finish in program history. Individually, the Cavaliers found three bowlers within the top 25, including one in the top five.
Zach Eble made an impression in his first collegiate event as he finished fifth and was named to the All-Tournament Team after a 933 series. Eble's finish was the highest individual finish within the program's history.
Bryan Hastler finished 14th overall, bowling an 863 series and Matt Tryjankowski bowled a 799 series.
The Cavaliers will travel to Muncie, Indiana for the Cardinal Classic on Saturday (Sept. 28) and Sunday (Sept. 28).
