(LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio) – The season concluded today for the men's golf team as it finished ninth at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship played at Four Bridges Country Club. The Cavaliers improved upon its second round score by 10 strokes to finish with a total of 943.
There was only one round played today with the first two played yesterday. The Cavs came in with a 308 to go with the 317 and 318 from yesterday.
Noah Frase finished an impressive championship with a 74 on the final day, one stroke better than his second round and four better than the first. He finished with a 227 to tie for 10th in the individual standings.
Mark Mokros and Drew Savage followed with both scoring a 77 in the third round. Mokros tallied a 233 over the tournament, while Savage followed behind him at 239. Jake Barth completed the team score with an 80 on the final day. He totaled a 245 across the three rounds. Noah Drlik served as the fifth player on the team and totaled a 250 after he finished with an 84 in Round Three.
Findlay won the championship with a three-round total of 889. Trevecca Nazarene was second with an 896. Kentucky Wesleyan (908), Hillsdale (909), and Malone (930) completed the top five.
