Men's Golf Looking to Make Moves at Day 2 of GMAC Invite

(COLUMBUS, Indiana)-  The Men's Golf team sits in ninth place after day 1 of the GMAC Fall Invite hosted by Hillsdale College at Otter Creek Golf Course. The Marron and Gold fired an opening round of 308 to get things rolling on Day 1.

Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Brandon Netzel with an impressive opening round of 75. Right behind him with a 76 was Noah Frase and Drew Savage with a 77 for the Cavs.  Mark Mokros rounded out the top four scores with an 80.  Jake Barth carded an 86 as the final score for the Cavs. 

Hillsdale College takes the lead after Day 1 with a 291. Trevecca and Tiffin follow right behind with 292 and 293. The Cavaliers are just 9 shots back from Findlay who shot an opening round of 299.

The Maroon and Gold tee it up for round 2 tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
