Men's Golf Moves Up Two To Finish Tied For Seventh At GMAC Fall Invite

(Columbus, Indiana) -  The Men's Golf Team put together a strong 27 hole finish to move up two spots to finish tied for seventh at the GMAC Fall Invite held at Otter Creek Golf Course in Indiana. The Maroon and Gold fired 308-300-303 for their 54 hole total to put them tied for seventh with Malone University. 

Leading the way for the Cavaliers was Brandon Netzel with an impressive 54 hole total 227 (75-75-77). One stroke behind him was Mark Mokros with 3 round total of 228 ( 80-74-74). Carding a 54 hole total of 229 (77-73-79) was senior Drew Savage. Rounding out the line up for the Cavaliers was Noah Frase with a 54 hole total  230 (76-78-76) and Jake Barth with 240 (86-78-76).

Hillsdale College won the 54 hole event with a 3 day total 865 with the University of Findlay right behind them at second place carding a 54 hole total 869.

The Men's Golf team tees it back up at Cog Hill Golf Club on October 1-2.
