Men's Soccer Rolls Past Trevecca, 4-0

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - The Walsh University men's soccer team ended their roadtrip with a 4-0 victory over Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday (October 19). The Cavaliers are now 8-3-2 overall and 4-3-2 in conference play. 

Alex Jackson led the way for Walsh with two goals, the first of which came in the first half off an assist from Jake Cunningham. The other three Cavalier goals all came in the second period. Jackson was assisted by Wesley Burton for his second goal in the 78th minute. Ian Quinn and Myles Cornwall both scored unassisted in the 86th minute to round out Walsh's scoring. 

The Cavalier defense only allowed for five shots on goal. Brett Ekperouh recorded the shutout in goal, putting him at 1-0-1 on the season. 

Walsh will head to Ohio Dominican on Thursday (October 24) for another G-MAC match-up starting at 5:00 PM.
