Second Half Goals Halt Cavaliers, 2-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Thursday (Oct. 24) night at Panther Stadium. 

Ohio Dominican scored two second half goals in the 2-0 loss.

Walsh shot the ball eight times in the first half with four shots on goal as the game was tied at the intermission. 

After halftime, Ohio Dominican scored in the 57th and 77th minutes for the 2-0 final score. 

In the second half, the Cavaliers took eight shots with four more on goal. 

The Panthers won the shot differential, 21-16, while the Cavaliers won the shot on goal battle, 8-4. 

Brett Ekperuoh made four saves in the game for the Cavaliers.

Walsh travels to Cedarville on Saturday (Oct. 26) for the final road game of the 2019 season. Kickoff against the Yellow Jackets is at 7:30 PM.
