Women's Golf Tied for Fourth at GMAC Fall Invite

(COLUMBUS, Indiana) - The Women's golf team sits tied for fourth after the opening round of the GMAC Fall Invite at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana. The Cavaliers put together a day 1 score of 328.

Leading the way for the Maroon and Gold was Kerra Loomis who carded an 80. Michele Vlacovksy and Kayleigh McHugh fired off rounds of 82 with Alexis Green right behind shooting an 84. Amanda Scala rounded out the top 5 with a 98.  Lauren Hatfield participated in the event as an individual, carding a 90 for the Cavs.

The University of Findlay takes a strong lead after day one with an impressive opening round of 289. Trevecca Nazarene finished day one at 317 and Tiffin University sits 4 shots back at 321. The Cavs are tied with Ohio Dominican at 328.

The 27 hole conclusion of the event takes place with an 8 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday.
