(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) - The Women's Golf team wrapped up their fall season at the Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. The Cavaliers finished tied for 14th amongst some of the strongest teams in the East region.
Guiding the way for the Cavs was senior Kerra Loomis. Loomis scored her lowest fall round of 77 on the final day to have her place tied for 34th overall (83-77). Michele Vlacovsky was second for the day with an 83 to follow up her 80 from the opening round. Kayleigh McHugh played one shot better on day two for an 84 (85-84). Alexis Green improved 4 shots from day one to give her a two day total of 174 (89-85). Rounding out the top five for the maroon and gold was Lauren Hatfield improving 6 shots from day one with an 86 (92-86).
The University of Indianapolis went home with first place after posting a two day total of 592 (301-291) to help them just nudge out Grand Valley State(599) for the win.
The women tee it up again in Tampa over spring break as they host the 2019 Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff at Saddlebrook Golf and Tennis Resort.
