  • Women's Soccer Adds Super Seven On Signing Day

    The Walsh University women’s soccer program is welcoming seven newcomers for the upcoming 2018 season as announced by Head Coach David Renard. The Cavaliers add Ana Bair, Brooke Bowser, Madalyn Canter, Haley Dancer, Erin Geibel, Madeline Malinowski, and Kayla Rance to the Class of 2018. The incoming class features one from northeast Ohio, three from the greater Cincinnati area, and three from out of state (New York, Illinois, Indiana).
  • Peters, Himes Earn OCS All-Ohio Honors

    The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association has released its All-Ohio teams and three Cavaliers have been named to the 2017 edition. On the women’s side, Olivia Peters and Alisha Himes were selected after leading Walsh to its best season in program history.
  • Peters Earns United Soccer Coaches Regional Honors

    The 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women’s All-Midwest Region Teams have been announced and Walsh’s Olivia Peters has been selected. Peters was named to the Third Team after one of the best seasons by a player in program history while leading the Cavs to their best season in program history.
  • Three Cavaliers Earn D2CCA All-Region Honors

    The 2017 D2CCA All-Midwest Region Team for women’s soccer has been released and Walsh has three players that have been selected. Olivia Peters, Brianna Sanborn, and Alisha Himes were all selected to the Second Team at forward, midfield, and defender, respectively.
  • Cavs' Record Season Ends In G-MAC Semis

    The best season in Walsh women’s soccer history came to an end with a 2-0 defeat to Ohio Dominican in the G-MAC Tournament semifinals on Thursday. The Cavaliers end the year at 15-4. The Panthers are now 15-4-1 and moves on to Saturday’s championships.
  • Revenge, Spot In G-MAC Championship On Line For Walsh

    There will be much more on the line when Walsh meets Ohio Dominican on the pitch tomorrow at Ohio Valley University. This time the two long-time conference foes will meet in the G-MAC Tournament with a spot in the championship game to the winner.
  • Three Cavaliers Named to G-MAC All-Conference Team

    With the G-MAC semifinals set to play tomorrow, a banquet was held at Ohio Valley University to announce the All-Conference Team for 2017. Three Cavaliers were selected by the G-MAC coaches with Olivia Peters and Alisha Himes earning First Team honors and Hannah Bowman being named a Second Team honoree.
  • No. 3 Walsh Hosts First Tournament Game Since 1998

    After the best regular season in program history, Walsh is ready for its G-MAC Tournament debut as it hosts Trevecca Nazarene for the second time this season. The Cavaliers (14-3), who enter as the No. 3 seed, defeated the Trojans (8-5-3) back on September 21 by a score of 3-2.
  • No. 3 Cavs Shut Down No. 6 Trojans In Quarterfinals

    No. 3 Walsh took care of business in its final home game of the season with a 2-0 shutout of No. 6 Trevecca on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The win advances the Cavaliers (15-3) to the semifinals in Vienna, W.Va., against either No. 2 Ohio Dominican or No. 7 Kentucky Wesleyan.

  • Cavs Sweep Malone, Reach 14 Wins For Just Second Time In History

    The regular season ended on a good note for Walsh as it defeated rival Malone 2-1 to take the season sweep. The Cavaliers (14-3, 11-3) also secured the No. 3 seed in the G-MAC Tournament in the win against the Pioneers (4-9-4, 2-8-4).
  • Cavs Get Clean Sheet Against AB On Senior Day

    Walsh recorded another shutout with a 4-0 victory over Alderson Broaddus on Senior Day at Milazzo Field on Saturday. It was the 11th clean sheet of the season for the Cavaliers (13-3, 10-3), eighth in the G-MAC games, and second of the season against the Battlers (3-11-2, 2-9-2).
  • Cavs Clinch Home Playoff Game With Shutout of Senators

    With 3-0 win over Davis & Elkins, Walsh clinched a home playoff game in next Saturday’s G-MAC Quarterfinals this evening at Milazzo Field. The Cavaliers (12-3, 9-3) recorded 10th shutout of the season and second of the Senators (0-12-2, 0-10-2) after a 1-0 win in Elkins, W.Va., earlier this season.
  • Cavs Beat Malone, Clinch Playoff Bid, Snap Skid

    It was a great night for Walsh as it defeated rival Malone 3-0 in G-MAC action at St. Thomas Aquinas on a chilly fall evening Tuesday. Not only did the Cavaliers (11-3, 8-3) snap a three-game losing streak while dispatching their rivals, but they also clinched a playoff berth in the conference tournament with the win against the Pioneers (4-7-3, 2-6-3).
  • Cavs Clipped By Cedarville

    Two late goals doomed Walsh as it fell 2-0 to Cedarville in G-MAC action at Milazzo Field on a warm fall afternoon Saturday. The Cavaliers (10-3, 7-3) need just one more point to clinch a conference tournament bid, while the Yellow Jackets (9-5-1, 7-3-1) secured one with the three points given by the victory.

Not only did the Cavaliers (9-0, 6-0) remain unbeaten with their seventh shutout of the season, but Olivia Peters also added to her second-best conference point total with a goal and an assist against the Arrows (4-4-1, 4-3).

    Olivia Peters scored both goals in Walsh’s 2-1 victory at Lake Erie on Thursday afternoon to keep the Maroon and Gold undefeated. The Cavaliers are now 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the G-MAC, while the Storm dropped to 4-5 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

  • Cavaliers Shutout Senators In G-MAC Opener

    The shutout streak continued as Walsh defeated Davis & Elkins 1-0 in G-MAC play on Thursday evening. The Cavaliers (4-0) were playing in their conference opener after their game against Malone was washed out by thunderstorms, while the Senators (1-2-1, 0-1-1) were playing in their second.

    The offense was in full effect for Walsh tonight with a 7-0 thrashing of Salem International at Milazzo Field on Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers (2-0) have now recorded shutouts in 10 of their last 20 games. It’s also their biggest margin of victory since defeating the Tigers (0-2) by the same score last season.
