NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) announced the 2018 All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio teams for Division II and NAIA on Wednesday (Jan. 16).
Five players were named All-Ohio with three getting First Team honors and two earning Second Team accolades. Six players total were honored Academic All-Ohio for their on-field and classroom efforts.
Senior defender Corynne Swift, sophomore midfielder Hannah Bowman and junior forward Brianna Sanborn received First Team All-Ohio nods. Junior goalkeeper Mikayla McClanahan and junior forward Olivia Peters rounded out the Walsh representatives with Second Team accolades.
On the academic side, McClanahan, junior midfielder Alisha Himes, Peters and Sanborn placed on the Academic All-Ohio First Team. Senior defender Emily Joyce and senior midfielder Tara McCausland earned Second Team All-Ohio honors.
