Women's Soccer Adds Fourth Member of 2019-20 Recruiting Class

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's soccer program and head coach David Renard have announced the fourth addition to the incoming class for the 2019-20 school year. Krista Prasek, from Streetsboro, Ohio, will suit up for the Cavaliers on the pitch in the Fall.

Prasek was a four-year letterwinner with the Rockets as a center midfielder and outside defender. She also played for Internationals SC as her club team along with running track.

"We are very fortunate to bring in a player like Krista this late in the process," said Cavaliers head coach David Renard. "She's another skillful and versatile player who could fill in the midfield for us or anywhere on the backline. With Krista, I really like that she takes pride playing both sides of the ball. We're extremely excited and can't wait to see her on the field with us in the fall."

Over her high school career, Prasek earned awards at three different levels. As the Rockets won the Portage Trail Conference (PTC), she was named First Team All-Conference. She also brought home First Team All-District and Second Team All-Ohio accolades.

In the classroom, she was a member of National Honors Society, a Student-Athlete Award recipient and top ten in her class.

She joins Grace Moore, Megan Anderson, and Sabrina Ortenzi in the 2019-2020 Recruiting Class.
