Women's Soccer Holds Trojans Scoreless

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - The Walsh University women's soccer team rolled past Trevecca Nazarene (2-1) on Saturday (October 19) to earn their ninth win of the season. The Cavaliers are now 9-3 overall and 6-1 in G-MAC play. 

Olivia Peters gave momentum to Walsh early in the contest, as she scored unassisted in the fourth minute of Saturday's match. The second Cavalier goal also came in the first period when Peters assisted Brianna Sanborn in the 22nd minute. 

The Cavalier defense held the Trojans scoreless, led by Mickey McClanahan's shutout. The defense only allowed for two shots on goal throughout the contest. 

The Maroon and Gold will travel to Ohio Dominican for another conference match-up this Thursday (October 24) at 7:30 PM.
